For this 121-unit turbine wind farm, Ames constructed access roads, crane pads, and crane walk paths; graded the turbine assembly areas; installed culverts; and provided road maintenance and site restoration services.
Dedicated crews performed the majority of the access road construction during harsh winter weather. The wind farm began generating clean, renewable power in late 2009.
