Ames Construction performed a fast-tracked, high-visibility project to build pedestrian plaza bridges that span Interstate 394 in downtown Minneapolis, Minnesota. The bridges connect Target Field (home of the Minnesota Twins) to the downtown skyway system and nearby Target Center.

With multiple contractors working simultaneously on the construction of Target Field, the project was built in a congested work site, under an active high-volume freeway and amid street traffic.
