Ames has performed site work for the construction of multiple distribution and warehouse centers across the United States. Work scope on these projects has included site excavation, underground piping, grading, concrete, foundations, and paving.
For a distribution center in Utah, crews met a stringent contractual requirement to excavate 2.3 million cubic yards of material in just two-and-a-half months. A project in Wisconsin required 1.2 million cubic yards of material to be moved in the same time frame.
For an Arizona distribution center, the site did not allow for a laydown/staging area. Deliveries were carefully coordinated to occur with the start of each operation.
